Using Security as a Catalyst for Faster Development With DevSecOps

Alex, Angel, Liran. at All The Talks 2020 - Security

While almost half of developers and operations teams say security slows them down, some organizations are actually using security as a catalyst to adopt application architectures that allow them to move fast but also securely. These teams are integrating security into DevOps practices and breaking down silos between development and security teams. Join Snyk Developer Advocates Alyssa Miller and Liran Tal for a discussion with The New Stack Founder and Publisher Alex Williams on how to approach DevOps from a security angle, speed development and improve your organization’s security posture.

Liran Tal is a Developer Advocate at Snyk and a member of the Node.js Security working group. He is a JSHeroes ambassador, passionate about building communities and the open source movement and greatly enjoys pizza, wine, web technologies, and CLIs. Liran is also the author of Essential Node.js Security, a core contributor to OWASP NodeGoat project and loves to dabble about code, testing, and software philosophy.
