The Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) regularly surveys the community to understand where and how cloud native technologies are being adopted. The 2019 CNCF Survey is the 7th report to be published.


Cheryl Hung, CNCF Director of Ecosystem will highlight trends over the past few years, and what users of these open source technologies can expect next.

Cheryl Hung

Cheryl Hung is Director of Ecosystem at the Cloud Native Computing Foundation, a non-profit under the Linux Foundation which hosts open source projects including Kubernetes, Prometheus and Envoy.

Her mission is to drive adoption of cloud native and open source infrastructure among end users. She founded and runs Cloud Native London, one of the largest and most active meetup groups in London.

Previously she worked on Google Maps as a C++ engineer, and holds a Masters in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge, King’s College.
